Golden Hours – a yoga weekend with Tua Hjemgaard

“Calm your senses, strengthen your body.”

As autumn brings stillness, leaves cover the ground and the days grow darker, we devote this weekend to creating bright hours in the darkness.

When the days become shorter and the world around us turns inward, we too are invited to slow down.

Golden Hours is a weekend for recovery, stillness and soft light. A place where we can rest from performing and instead create small moments of presence—bright hours in the darkness.

Throughout the weekend, we weave together yoga, meditation, sound healing, fire, silence and nature’s healing rhythm.

We breathe the clear autumn air.
We warm ourselves by the fire.
We listen within.
We bathe in a cold spring or tub and rest beneath soft blankets.

We do not gather to become someone else.
We gather to come home to ourselves.

Welcome to Golden Hours—the light is already there.

Come exactly as you are to a peaceful setting close to nature and free from traffic noise. Here at Sju Sjöar, relaxation and calm arrive almost immediately, with yoga and meditation helping us settle into the body, feel good and eat well, with nature as our nearest neighbour.

Being in the “yoga bubble” is a wonderful luxury: a pause from everyday life, the courage simply to be, a break from the flow of information, a chance to listen and feel within. It is like a loving meeting with yourself, a way to renew your energy. Everyone can take part and receive personal help with modifications, for example if you have an injury. No previous yoga experience is needed.
